The Wine Point – Wine FundraisingNow your organisation needs to raise some money. There are a few things you can do, hold a raffle, cook up a sausage sizzle, fatten up the kids on a chocolate drive – or sell your own high quality wine brand and bring home the profits WITH NO OUTLAY (or maybe a very small one.).
And because the wines are all from The Wine Point, they're guaranteed to be delicious! How does it work?We organise a price list of wines with detailed tasting notes and bottles adorned with your organisation’s personally designed label. You send out the price list and/ or organise a tasting. You take the orders, send them to us and we’ll arrange for all labelling and despatch – then give you your percentage of total sales. Why can’t you just buy cheap cleanskin wines and sell them to your members?Ah, because you’d be breaking the law. The Wine Point has a liquor license and can legally sell the wine.
What do you need to do?Get us to organise a label for you – it’s easy, provide us with an image; it can be a photograph, logo or illustration. You can send it to us via email, on a disc or you can bring a photograph into the shop and we’ll scan it for you. We’ve also got a selection of images that might be suitable for you to use. Remember to include any text you’ll want on the label too. Choose your wines.Select from our range of over 70 wines in all styles including rose, sparkling, sticky and ports. How much money can we make?How much wine can you sell? But seriously, it will vary with the value of the offer, but usually works out around $35 - $50 a case. What does it cost?That’s the beauty, it’s very little indeed, just the cost of the initial tasting box order and labels, and we do the label design for free.
