The 2010 Foodies Guide to Sydney has been published and those canny arbiters of taste have recognised The Wine Point as one of Sydney's more noteworthy (in a good way) foodie destinations.

It's nice to be recognised, now we'll just wait for the celebrity Masterchef invite...

The October 2009 edition of Country Style Magazine has a particularly well written article by Rob Ingram on wine bargains. We love what he writes about us, where he really gets what we're doing, offering regional, distinctive wines at really good prices. He also refers to us as place where you can shop without the ethical dliemma or guilt pangs of buying from big companies. Couldn't have put it better myself'.

He also reviews our 2005 Limestone Coast "Backyard and Balcony Shiraz" - just in time for it to sell out! Ah, the 06 is just as good!

Time Out Sydney Magazine recently put a bit of a spotlight on the cleanskin wine market. Time Out scribe Mike Bennie pointed made a point that you need to choose carefully, then went on to recommend The Wine Point as "the king of cleanskins"..

While we love our regulars and get lots of great customer feedback (keep the word of mouth stuff going peeps!) it does help get the word out with a bit of free publicity.

The 2008 Good Food Guide acknowledged us as one of Sydney's leading wine merchants. It’s always nice to get a little bit of recognition from those who know what is good to put in your mouth.

The Sydney Morning Herald has written about us a number of times of the last few years. Most memorably we took up most of page 3 in June 2006; it led to a very busy weekend.
